When families begin the search for the best private middle schools in Maryland, one question always comes up: Can we afford it? At Kent School, we believe high-quality education should be within reach for families throughout the Eastern Shore—and we’ve structured our tuition, payment plans, and financial aid options to reflect that.

Exceptional Value with All-Inclusive Tuition

Kent School’s tuition is more than just a number—it’s a reflection of our commitment to a complete educational experience. Our tuition includes:

  • All academic fees
  • Books and learning materials
  • Technology and Devices
  • School-sponsored field trips

Additional costs may apply for optional activities like transportation, interscholastic sports, or after-school clubs—but many essentials are already built in.

2026–2027 Tuition Rates

We offer early childhood through eighth grade programs, with transparent, predictable costs:

Little School (Ages 3–5)

  • Four days/week: $10,100
  • Five days/week: $11,100

Kindergarten: $15,500

Grades 1–4: $20,000

Grades 5–8: $21,500

Flexible Payment Plans

Understanding that every family’s financial situation is different, Kent School offers several payment options:

  • 10-month plan
  • Two-payment plan
  • Single-payment plan

We’re here to make this work for your budget!

Over 40% of Families Receive Tuition Assistance

Affordability is about more than just numbers—it's about access. Kent School is proud to offer tuition assistance for Kindergarten through 8th Grade. With a simplified application through our partner, Clarity, families can receive personalized tuition assessments that reflect their financial situation.

Typical tuition ranges (2024–2025):

  • Grades K–4: $8,100 – $17,300
  • Grades 5–8: $8,690 – $18,500

This means many families are paying significantly less than our full tuition rate.

Sibling Discounts & Tax Benefits

Families enrolling three or more children may be eligible for our Sibling Loyalty Discount—another way we help make Kent School affordable.

While tuition assistance isn’t available for Little School, some families may qualify for federal tax deductions. (We recommend discussing this with a tax professional.)

A Personal Approach to Affordability

We know that finances can be deeply personal. Our admissions team is here to talk you through your options and find a path that fits your family’s needs.
