Why Families Choose Kent School

Every family’s journey is different, but many share a common thread: they were looking for a school where their child would be seen, encouraged, and inspired. These testimonials speak to the trust families place in Kent School and the impact that experience has on their children.

Our children have been attending Kent School since 2020. Even through the pandemic, we have had a wonderful experience with every teacher and staff member there. They truly get to know your children and connect with families on personal levels. We have been so blessed to have our children attend Kent School. Our only wish is that they went through high school grades and didn't stop at eighth grade.

Reflecting on how thankful I am that our kids are safe and well cared for here as I wait for pickup today. We have so much to be grateful for.

Kent School is in such a unique and beautiful place, I knew it was the right place for our family.

We always loved the Eastern Shore and brought our young children to explore on weekends and holidays. When we discovered Kent School, we realized we could make the Shore our home.

Every day my children come home from school excited; full of joy and stories about what they learned.

As an educator, teaching at Kent School is like breathing a deep breath of fresh air. Educators are trusted to do what is best and right for children and are supported to make instructional decisions.

Kent School gave my daughter the foundation to succeed academically and socially. She left with a strong sense of self and an understanding of what it means to be a responsible citizen.

We are extremely grateful that our son's middle school years were spent here at Kent School.

He was able to step up and be a leader, be a member of a team, work toward common goals, problem solve, explore his interestes, step out of his comfort zone (Frozen, Jr and reading poetry at the assembly) and self advocate.

What an incredible gift those years were!
