Kent School Athletics
Designed to foster a competitive and age-appropriate atmosphere, the inter-scholastic athletics program promotes physical fitness, good sportsmanship, skill development and personal responsibility. While students are encouraged to set individual goals, the school’s primary goals for every child are to contribute to the team and to have fun.
Students in grades five through eight may participate in Kent School’s interscholastic sports program. Students may participate in co-ed soccer, co-ed field hockey, girls’ basketball, boys’ basketball, girls’ lacrosse and boys’ lacrosse. Basketball season is open for fifth graders to practice only, as games are limited to sixth through eighth graders; however fifth graders are encouraged to watch the games with parental supervision.

Parents and students should read our Handbook for specific dress code rules.
Kent School students in Kindergarten through Grade Eight are required to wear Kent School branded polo style shirts and polo style dresses. New uniform and other dress code approved clothing may be purchased through our online store at Flynn O'Hara.
The Kent School Phys. Ed. uniforms, required for students in Grades Five through Eight may also be purchased at our Flynn O'Hara store.
Available colors for polo shirts and polo style dresses are Navy Blue, Light Blue, Red and white. Kindergarten through Grade Eight are also required to wear khaki or navy pants, shorts, skorts.
