Middle School Spanish Teacher
Kent School, an independent day school located on the bank of the Chester River in Chestertown, Maryland serving girls and boys in Preschool through Grade 8, seeks a Middle School Spanish Teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year.
The Teacher will teach Spanish language and culture to Middle School students in Grades 5-8, and Lower School 4th Grade. Middle School Spanish is a curricular course. The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching foreign language and culture and her/his classroom should be one that features a strong emphasis on student-centered learning.
Whether composing songs to remember conjugation charts or producing music videos and television shows, students see, hear, move and think in Spanish. The Middle School experience encompasses cultural elements and a solid foundation of the language. Active learning contributes to our success.
The position is full time, ten months.
