Little School · Ages 3–5
Nurturing Young Learners with Playful Exploration
In Little School, children ages 3, 4, and 5 learn through play, hands-on discovery, and theme-based lessons guided by their teachers. Every classroom has two teachers, so each child gets the attention they need to build early literacy, number sense, and the confidence to start Kindergarten ready. Little School has its own classrooms and playground, and our youngest students are a full part of the larger school too, with weekly Spanish, Library, Music, and Physical Education classes, Reading Partners with our Third Grade students, and Nature Buddies with our Middle School students.
Lower School · Kindergarten – Grade 4
Inspiring Young Minds Through Purposeful Learning and Growth
At Kent School’s Lower School, students in Kindergarten through Grade 4 are inspired to embrace the joy of learning in a supportive, nurturing environment. With a balanced approach to academic excellence and social-emotional development, children build essential skills, develop resilience, and grow into curious, independent learners. Our dedicated faculty guide students to take pride in their efforts and explore their full potential, laying the foundation for a lifetime of growth and achievement.

Middle School · Grades 5–8
Building Leaders and Thinkers: Preparing for a Bright Future
Middle School at Kent School is a dynamic environment where students in Grades 5 through 8 are encouraged to explore, question, and grow. Through an integrated, hands-on curriculum, students develop critical thinking, research, and organizational skills while forming a strong sense of self and community. With the guidance of caring faculty, each student is prepared for the next stage of their educational journey and for a lifetime of success.
From Our Families
“We are so extremely grateful that our son's middle school years were spent here at Kent School. He was able to step up and be a leader, be a member of a team, work toward common goals, problem solve, explore his interests, step out of his comfort zone, and self advocate. What an incredible gift those years were!”
