Kent School is proud to announce the Class of 2010’s Spring Musical, Honk! Junior. Honk! is the humorous and lively musical adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen’s The Ugly Duckling. The book and lyrics were written by Anthony Drewe, and the music by George Stiles. The musical won the Olivier Award when it first ran in London’s West End. The students will be performing the Broadway Junior version, licensed by MTI. Performances will be on Friday, May 14 and Saturday May 15. Both performances will begin at 7:30 p.m., and the play will be held in the Kent School gym. Jim Landskroener is the Director, Kate Bennett is the Musical Director, and Diane Landskroener is the Choreographer. Art teacher Theresa Schram will be creating the scenery and props with the seventh grade.
